The Dew Breaker is a collection of short stories by Edwidge Danticat. It takes the reader on an adventure throughout the U.S. and Haiti and shares the stories of many different individuals' experiences from Haiti, especially concerning the Dew Breaker which was a group of torturers in Haiti.
About the Author
Edwidge Danticat
Edwidge Danticat is an Haitian-American author with a focus on short stories. She explores the issues of injustice, power, and poverty especially among women. She attended Barnard University for her undergraduate education and then attended Brown University where she got a Masters in Fine Arts. Her other works include Breath, Eyes, Memory and The Farming of Bones.
